@Soda It took a while, but it was worth it

This one is really REALLY good. The colors used for the reflection fit perfectly because it still looks like water, but it shows the house's colors as well. The plants in the front also add a nice abandoned feeling to it. Well done :)

I love this style that you use! This is one of the best pixel art pieces that I have seen on this website that isn't a giant piece of art (like the ones that are more than 500x500 pixels). Keep up the amazing work :)

Broadway Walker @Spriter
No prob. Your style actually great, honestly i wanted to draw some kind of night city for a long time, but i don't know how ( _U_)

Well, what i do is i use a monochromatic color scheme, usually (unless the windows are lit up), and since my drawings are fairly 2D, i just highlight one side of the buildings to make them have a bit more dimension. Now, if you're looking to do a 3D city, you might wanna take reference from an image of a city street, or above the city. Depending on how detailed you want your city, you might have to drift away from a monochromatic color scheme. Since my canvases are usually pretty small, it's a lot easier to just use a monochromatic color scheme. But hey, that's just me.It helps a lot to make the sky a bit detailed. Together, with the buildings, it gives them both more contrast, but not too much, so everything flows nicely, but doesn't hurt your eyes. If your buildings have neon lights, i would suggest only using 2 or 3 bright colors, so your eyes don't bleed while you view the piece.Hope this helps!
