The Dance of the Lambs

The Dance of the Lambs

Under the glow of the sunset, in the green strands now golden by the effulgence, an ovid engendered the last of the brood. White as milk and exuberant in purity, their spirited offspring rose, one by one, to learn to march. Soon, the lambs learned not only to walk, but also to dance. Ergo, they danced. They danced until dusk, their albino bodies shining in the moonlight. Blessed, not knowing that that ephemeral moment would be the most beautiful thing that would happen in their disastrous lives. [Sorry for the bad english oof I wrote this in spanish first] [By the way, even though the title and description has lambs on them, it's not about lambs, it's just an allegory. Same with the drawing.]

Maybe I should already say what it's all about. . . both the text and drawing is about something I've been thinking for a while now. . . I'll write it in spanish here: Trata sobre la vida moderna del hombre, cada vez haciéndose más y más frenética. . . . Y aún no he podido cumplir casi nada de mis proyectos personales y objetivos. . . pues la universidad demanda mucho de mi tiempo. . . y en unos años estoy seguro que el tiempo irá incluso aún más rápido para mí que en el presente. [[[[TL;DR: It's about modern life, society, and overall, how it feels like time passes so fast t...

the story and the piece blow me away. i love this; and what's not to love? this is perfect. the woman in the top left corner is a mysterious goddess, and her children like sprites of spawn! the allegory is well made, albeit a strange one.

@CrystilPixil Because the drawing that is currently POTD has to wear off its POTD status before a new one can come in, but I'm sure this one's in line for that :]

This is stunning! The poses evoke old European artwork (I am thinking of Michelangelo's sistine chapel), and I love all the movement in this drawing! Congrats on SP :D
