How to: Landscapes!
Finished how to on a basic landscape. This is just a very simple representation of techniques. More advanced strategies like intricate lighting and dithering techniques are not covered. Covered elements are: Sky, Mountains, Forests, Layered Landscaping, Relections, Lighting on water, and Mist/Fog. If you have more intricate questions, feel free to ask them. I will answer as best I can. NOTE: I'm just an amateur pixel artist like many of you. These are just some simple tips I've learned while drawing. This shouldn't be treated as professional advice.

I'm a big fan of jazza. That's funny that the teeny landscape looked so much like this finished product. Great minds and all that.

It's all about layers really. It depends on whether or not you want the mist in front of or behind the temple, but you'll need to add an extra layer and just color in solid white where you want the mist. Lowering the opacity should be easy from there and you can merge the mist layer into your base layer when you're done.

The mist, I'm drawing a desert sandscape and I want to draw like a temple in the backround but I'm having trouble with it Also my color blending is horrible
