I thought it would be nice to post something about a reference. So, here ya go! Eyes! Mainly to start you have to have the shape of the eye. Most eyes are almond shaped, but it doesn't always have to be that. Remember that most eyelashes will be away from the tear duct. Then, the iris. The iris will never always show the full curvature. Start w/ a base color then separate it with a darker color above, making a lil' hill at the center. Make highlights in the lighter part in the middle of it, and darker w/ the darker part. Then, the pupil. It can be round, goat shaped, whatever! Just make sure you make the part where the dark part is darker and light part lighter. Next, the sclera. DO NOT make it pure white. Make sure the shadow is matching the dark part of the iris. Blend w/ the dithering brush, and your done w/ that. Finally, the highlights. Use pure white for this and do it on a new layer.
