This was a very basic tutorial. However, you can repeat this same process many times for many different snowflakes. This snow animation is only 8 frames long. The one thing I didn't mention is that in order for flakes on different locations on the path to smoothly flow together, you will need to reach the final frame and then look at your first frame. Work backward from the first frame, placing flakes on the last frame just before those on the first. It is ok for a path to remain empty for most of the animation, however, you don't want your flakes jumping huge distances. If you slow your frame speed, remember to place the flakes closer together on each consecutive frame to keep the animation from looking rough. This animation is running on 100ms.
